Guilin
We got to visit a rural school, set among the rice paddies, for the children of the poor farming community. Once you enter the courtyard you seen the sign indicating the school is sponsored by the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program. The children were very happy to see us and jammed it up for picture taking!
These first graders were adorable and so happy to see us!
Hi Page, I'm enjoying all of the pictures and comments of schools and children in China. Thanks so much for sharing. I would particularly be interested in how they train their teachers in science, math and engineering. Are the same gender issues for engineering similar to those in the US? Have a safe rest of the trip and safe travel home. See you in Baltimore. Lovelle
