Today we met with professors from Beijing Normal University to learn more about teacher preparation in China. In the afternoon we visited the Beijing University Experimental Primary School. We observed an outstanding lesson conducted in an observation room. It was a lesson on sound taught by a master teacher. Wow! Such a well developed lesson that was so beautifully designed that we could follow how the lesson unfolded even though it was conducted in Chinese. The children were adorable and so engaged! We toured the school and had an opportunity to interact with the principal and teachers. A fantastic day for all!
